Baloch Solidarity Committee Organizes Major Rally in Turbat, Emphasizing National Unity Against Oppression
Turbat:Addressing a large gathering at Fida Shaheed Chowk in Turbat, Dr. Mah Rang Baloch, central organizer of the Baloch Youth Committee (BYC), emphasized the need for Baloch unity in the face of years of oppression, human rights abuses, and enforced disappearances. She asserted that Baloch national strength has become a historical force against state repression, proving that crushing Baloch resilience through coercion and imprisonment is a fallacy.
Dr. Baloch urged that it is time for Baloch people to leverage their collective strength to overcome state dominance and end long-standing occupation. She criticized the occupying forces for seizing resources, abducting youth, and committing violence, while stressing that the Baloch people’s patience and resistance have consistently demonstrated that their land and wealth are non-negotiable.
Dr. Baloch called on Baloch youth to embrace their national responsibility by joining the movement and actively opposing enforced disappearances and occupation. She recounted how, despite state efforts to block the paths of rallying caravans with violence and roadblocks, the determined Baloch managed to hold a successful rally in Turbat, which she described as more impactful and beneficial for the national movement than the one-day rally in Gwadar.
She declared that the movement is not ending but is rather just beginning. Highlighting the courage and resilience of the Baloch people, she emphasized that their resistance has thwarted state strategies and added a new chapter to the Baloch struggle.
In her speech, Simi Din Baloch, General Secretary of Voice for Baloch Missing Persons, praised the unity and resistance shown by the Baloch people during the 13-day rallies across regions, despite severe crackdowns and violence by the state. She stressed the importance of protecting their homeland and resources, calling for collective action to ensure the safety and future of Baloch generations.
Simi Din highlighted that the state’s response to the Gwadar rally—through severe crackdowns and violence against civilian convoys—will be remembered in history. Despite this, the Baloch people have shown resilience and determination, proving that their collective strength can overcome occupation.
In closing, senior BYC leader Sabghat Ullah Shah Ji congratulated the Baloch people on their unwavering spirit and unity, underscoring that when Baloch people stand united and organized, no force can deter their path.
