Baloch Doctors Forum Expresses Concern Over Salary Delay at Medical Colleges in Balochistan

Quetta:The spokesperson for the Baloch Doctors Forum has expressed grave concern over the ongoing delay in salaries for faculty members of Makran Medical College, Jhalawan Medical College, and Loralai Medical College. The spokesperson termed it highly unfortunate that the teachers have not been paid their salaries for the past three months.

This situation has not only caused severe financial hardship for the teachers but has also negatively impacted the performance of the institutions and the education of the students. Faculty members in Balochistan’s medical colleges, who play a vital role in advancing medical education in the region, are currently under intense financial strain.

The forum emphasized that this issue is undermining the professional dignity of the faculty and adversely affecting medical education and healthcare services. The Baloch Doctors Forum has called on the Government of Balochistan to immediately release the pending salaries for all faculty members of the medical colleges in the province.

Furthermore, the forum has demanded the establishment of a transparent and reliable system to ensure timely and regular payment of salaries in the future. If this issue is not resolved promptly, the Baloch Doctors Forum reserves the right to hold collective protests. The forum expects the Government of Balochistan to prioritize this critical issue for the advancement of medical education and healthcare services in the province.
