Babar Azam Named in ICC T20 Team of the Year 2024
The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced its T20 Team of the Year, and Pakistan’s captain Babar Azam has been included in the prestigious list.
According to the ICC, the team will be captained by India’s Rohit Sharma. Four Indian players are part of the team, including Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, and Arshdeep Singh.
In addition, players from Australia, England, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, Afghanistan, and the West Indies have also been included, with Babar Azam representing Pakistan in the lineup.
Other notable players selected for the T20 Team of the Year include Travis Head (Australia), Phil Salt (England), Nicholas Pooran (West Indies), Sikandar Raza (Zimbabwe), Wanindu Hasaranga (Sri Lanka), and Rashid Khan (Afghanistan).
This recognition highlights the exceptional performances of these players throughout the year in the T20 format.
