ATTOCK POLICE FILE CASE AGAINST PTI LEADERS, INCLUDING FOUNDER IMRAN KHAN

Attock: The police in Attock have registered a case against the central leadership of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), including party founder Imran Khan, Bushra Bibi, Ali Amin Gandapur, and Omar Ayub. The case was filed by the police of Hazro Tehsil in Attock, and in addition to the named individuals, five Members of the National Assembly and 15,000 unidentified party workers have also been implicated.
The police have invoked 22 criminal sections, including terrorism-related provisions, in the FIR. According to the authorities, PTI workers attacked law enforcement officers, injuring 78 police personnel. The assailants were reportedly armed with weapons, sticks, slingshots, and stones, and caused significant damage to public property during the violence.
The police further stated that the attackers shattered the windows of vehicles, spread terror, and engaged in anti-state slogans during the incident.
