Attack on Former Provincial Minister Khaliq Hazara in Quetta, Suspect Arrested
Quetta:An unfortunate incident occurred in Quetta where former provincial minister and leader of the Hazara Democratic Party, Khaliq Hazara, was attacked in his home. The police swiftly acted and arrested the suspect, who was identified as a neighbor of Khaliq Hazara.
According to police reports, the attack took place late last night at Hazara’s residence. The attack is being investigated as part of a robbery attempt. During the scuffle with the thief, Khaliq Hazara was injured. The assailant’s identification card was reportedly dropped during the altercation, which helped police in tracking down and arresting the suspect.
Shahid Rand, the spokesperson for the Balochistan government, contacted Khaliq Hazara to inquire about his health and conveyed the Chief Minister’s best wishes. He stated that a thorough investigation into the incident is underway and that soon the facts will be revealed, as per DIG Atta Zaz Ahmed Goraya.
Shahid Rand expressed his well wishes for Hazara’s quick recovery and emphasized that the government is taking steps to prevent such incidents and ensure the safety of the public.
The Balochistan government has made it clear that it is committed to preventing such attacks and that the police are working diligently to bring the perpetrators to justice.
