Assistant Commissioner of Bhag Assesses Damage at Flood-Hit School

Bhag:Following instructions from the Deputy Commissioner of Kachhi, Assistant Commissioner of Bhag, Naveed Baloch, visited the flood-affected Government High School in Goth Pehor. During the visit, the school’s headmaster, Ehsan Ahmed Abro, briefed him on the damage caused by recent rains and flooding. The visit was also attended by Babu Waris and other school staff.

Assistant Commissioner Naveed Baloch inspected the school building and records, noting that the floodwaters had severely damaged the structure and destroyed the furniture and records. He observed that all equipment and resources, including those from nearby schools’ clusters, were obliterated by the flood. A detailed report of the damage will be submitted to the Deputy Commissioner of Kachhi and other relevant authorities.

Naveed Baloch stated that the drainage work has been ongoing for the past week, but due to the deteriorated condition of the building, educational activities have been suspended for ten days. Efforts are being made to find an alternative location to resume educational activities, and the relevant authorities have been informed.

He emphasized that the administration is committed to providing maximum relief to flood victims, stating that serving distressed humanity is of utmost importance. All available resources are being utilized to aid the affected individuals, and no effort will be spared in this regard.
