Islamabad: Pakistani Olympian Arshad Nadeem has secured a spot in the final of the Men’s Javelin Throw event at the Paris Olympics. In the qualifying round, Nadeem achieved a throw of 86.59 meters, placing him in third position. Indian defending champion Neeraj Chopra led the qualifiers with a throw of 89.34 meters, while the African specialist from Kenya finished in second place with a throw of 88.63 meters.
The final of the Men’s Javelin Throw is scheduled for August 8, where Neeraj Chopra, Arshad Nadeem, and A. Peters will compete for the top honors.
