Arrest Warrants Issued for Bushra Bibi in Toshakhana Case 2
Rawalpindi: A Rawalpindi court has issued arrest warrants for Bushra Bibi, the wife of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, in the Toshakhana Case 2 due to her continuous absence from hearings.
The session was held by Central Judge Shah Rukh Arjumand at Adiala Jail, where both Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi are facing charges. Bushra Bibi failed to appear in court for the hearing of the case.
As a result, the court issued her bailable arrest warrants for her repeated failure to attend the proceedings and rejected her request for exemption from today’s hearing. The court also issued a notice to her surety, questioning why her surety bonds should not be confiscated.
This development follows an earlier notice issued by the Islamabad High Court today, calling Bushra Bibi to respond to the FIA’s plea for the cancellation of her bail in the Toshakhana Case 2.
