Army Chief General Asim Munir Highlights Organized Spectrum Behind Terrorism

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir has stated that terrorism in the country is driven by an organized illegal spectrum, supported by specific elements. According to a statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), General Munir made these remarks while addressing students in Bahawalpur. He emphasized that Pakistan is a priceless gift from Allah, blessed with numerous bounties.

General Munir urged the students and the public to never forget their faith, ancestors, and societal values. He stressed that for the nation’s progress, everyone must contribute by lighting their own candle of responsibility, and instead of pointless criticism, focus on performance and duties.

The Army Chief also expressed confidence in the strength of the nation, stating, “As long as great mothers continue to dedicate their children to Pakistan, no harm can come to us. As long as the nation, especially the youth, stands alongside the armed forces, no one can harm us.”

Addressing the issue of terrorism, General Munir reiterated that there is an organized illegal spectrum behind such acts, and these elements receive backing from certain quarters. He added that whenever the state confronts this spectrum, false narratives emerge from these elements.
