Armed Attack on Khadd Kocha Levies Station in Mastung

Mastung:An armed attack on the Levies Station in the Khadd Kocha area of Mastung has led to the temporary takeover of the station by assailants. The attackers entered the station, took all the personnel hostage, and also abducted some officers. Additionally, the Quetta-Karachi Highway was closed by the assailants, resulting in a suspension of traffic.

There was an exchange of fire between the attackers and the Levies Force, with the assailants using heavy weapons. However, no casualties or financial damage have been reported. The Deputy Commissioner of Mastung has confirmed the attack, stating that the assailants held control of the station for a short period before withdrawing.

A search operation is currently ongoing in the Khadd Kocha area. Reports indicate that nearby mosques have issued announcements advising people to avoid traveling on the Quetta-Karachi Highway due to the ongoing situation.
