ANP Leader Ehsan Wali Reveals Sale of Dog, Donkey, and Frog Meat in Pakistan
Islamabad:A shocking revelation has been made by Ehsan Wali, a leader of the Awami National Party (ANP), who has disclosed that dog, donkey, and frog meat is being sold in various parts of the country.
During a meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on National Food and Security, Ehsan Wali informed the committee that in several regions of Pakistan, the meat of these animals is being sold, alongside plastic rice being marketed to the public.
Wali further raised concerns about the milk production in the country, claiming that the amount of milk consumed does not match the domestic production. He revealed that only 22% of milk produced in Pakistan is genuine, while 78% is chemically altered and sold as “milk.”
Senator Dinesh Kumar also expressed his concerns during the meeting, highlighting the lack of a proper system to verify the authenticity of the rice consumed by the nation.
In light of these revelations, the committee decided to form a subcommittee to create policies concerning food security.
It is worth mentioning that a similar disclosure was made back in 2018 by then-Interior Minister, Shehryar Afridi, who revealed that dog, donkey, and pig meat were being sold in Islamabad.
