Aliema Khan Summoned Again by Joint Investigation Team Over Social Media Propaganda
Islamabad:The Joint Investigation Team (JIT), formed by the federal government, has once again summoned Aliema Khan, sister of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan, regarding negative propaganda on social media. The JIT reportedly possesses credible evidence related to the case.
According to sources, the JIT has directed Aliema Khan to appear in person on March 14. Earlier, she had failed to appear before the JIT on March 12, despite being summoned.
It is important to note that the JIT, tasked with investigating electronic crimes, is headed by the Inspector General of Islamabad Police. The team has been established under Section 30 of the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act, 2016, to address the issue of online criminal activities.
