Akhtar Mengal Refuses to End Protest Until Demands Are Met: Raheela Durrani

Quetta: Provincial Minister Raheela Durrani has stated that Sardar Akhtar Mengal refused to end his protest until his demands are fully addressed.
Raheela Durrani mentioned that female parliamentarians had visited the protest to try to end it in order to address the public’s difficulties. She further explained that a delegation had gone to meet Sardar Akhtar Mengal, and his first question was, “Who sent you?”
Durrani also noted that they informed Mengal that some of his demands were currently under consideration in the courts.
It is important to note that last month, a suicide bombing occurred near the protest site at Lakh Pass in Mastung, Balochistan, where Sardar Akhtar Mengal was leading his sit-in. Fortunately, there were no reports of casualties following the attack.
In response to the bombing, Sardar Akhtar Mengal said that the attack would not deter their resolve, and the protest at Lakh Pass would continue. He further stated that if the routes remained clear, the protest would shift to Quetta.
Mengal emphasized that they had faced similar challenges in the past and such attacks would not weaken their determination.
