AI Estimates IPL Bidding Prices for Pakistani Cricketers
Islamabad: Artificial Intelligence (AI) has estimated the potential Indian Premier League (IPL) prices for Pakistani cricketers, with fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi valued at a whopping 15 crore Indian Rupees (approximately 50 crore Pakistani Rupees).
Pakistani cricketers have not participated in the IPL since the inaugural season in 2008. That year, several notable players, including Shahid Afridi, Sohail Tanveer, Salman Butt, Shoaib Akhtar, and Misbah-ul-Haq, featured in the league. However, following the 2008 Mumbai attacks, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) imposed a ban on Pakistani players from participating in the IPL.
According to a report from an Indian website, when AI was asked to predict the IPL compensation for current Pakistani cricketers, it placed the highest value on Shaheen Shah Afridi at 15 crore INR. Babar Azam was valued at 12 crore INR, Mohammad Rizwan and Haris Rauf at 10 crore INR each, Shadab Khan at 8 crore INR, Fakhar Zaman at 6 crore INR, and Imam-ul-Haq at 3 crore INR.
