Additional IG of Balochistan Constabulary Emphasizes Stronger Security Measures for Foreign Nationals and Public Safety

Quetta:The Additional Inspector General of Police (IGP) and Commandant of Balochistan Constabulary, Agha Muhammad Yousaf, emphasized the need for stronger security measures to address the deteriorating law and order situation in the province. He highlighted the priority of ensuring the safety of Chinese nationals and other foreigners, stating that no negligence would be tolerated in providing security for them.
In a meeting held at the Badr Line Headquarters, Agha Muhammad Yousaf directed the officers in charge of the Balochistan Constabulary to utilize all resources to enhance the security of Chinese nationals. He also reminded personnel to adhere to strict discipline and avoid any negligence or indifference.
During the meeting, which was attended via video link by Deputy Commandant Balochistan Constabulary, SSP Headquarters, Zonal Commander 1-11-11-IV, and A.D Asadullah from the BC Headquarters in Quetta, the Additional IGP stressed the importance of securing all government properties, headquarters, and other public assets in the face of increasing security concerns in the province.
The Additional IGP also instructed Zonal Commanders to ensure regular presence and monitoring of the personnel under their command. He directed that any absenteeism or disciplinary issues would lead to departmental action. Moreover, he emphasized the need for anti-riot and special operational training for the reserve forces during their off-hours.
To ensure full compliance, the Additional IGP directed Zonal Commanders to conduct surprise checks on posts and patrols and provide briefings to the personnel. The provincial authorities are making every effort to guarantee the safety of foreign nationals and ensure effective security across the province.
