Pakistani actor Dodi Khan has turned down the marriage proposal from Bollywood actress Rakhi Sawant. In a video shared on his Instagram, Dodi Khan clarified that he will not marry Rakhi Sawant. He explained that a few days ago, he had posted a video on social media in which he proposed to Rakhi, as he knew her well and admired her personality.
Dodi Khan mentioned that he saw a loving person in Rakhi Sawant, who had been through many ups and downs in her life, including losing her parents, converting to Islam, adopting the name Fatima, and performing Umrah. This led him to propose to her.
However, he also acknowledged that his decision might not be acceptable to everyone, as he had received numerous messages and videos in response to his proposal, which he found difficult to tolerate. He reassured Rakhi that although she would not become his bride, she would remain his good friend. Dodi promised, “You will be the daughter-in-law of Pakistan, and I will arrange your marriage to one of my brothers.”
Previously, Dodi Khan had posted a video on Instagram, congratulating Rakhi on performing Umrah and welcoming her to Pakistan. He also playfully asked if she would be coming to India or Dubai for the wedding and expressed his affection by saying “love you” to her.
In response, Rakhi Sawant had shared that while she had received many proposals from Pakistan, she had chosen Dodi Khan. She stated that she wanted a pious man, similar to a “Molana” figure, as Pakistani men are generally devout. Rakhi also mentioned that she planned to marry in Pakistan according to Islamic customs, with her honeymoon in Switzerland, while settling in Dubai. She also expressed her intention to invite Pakistani media to her wedding, although she hasn’t decided yet whether her children would be born in Pakistan or India.
It’s worth noting that Rakhi Sawant had two previous marriages, both of which ended in failure. Her first marriage was to businessman Ritesh, which lasted only a few months, and her second marriage was to Adil Durrani after converting to Islam.
