Actor and Host Danish Taimoor Clarifies Controversial Statement on Multiple Marriages

Popular Pakistani actor and host Danish Taimoor has recently clarified his statement regarding the permission for four marriages, which had stirred controversy on social media. The actor took to social media to address concerns after his remarks sparked criticism.
In a video message, Danish acknowledged that some people were upset by his words and believed he had disrespected his wife. He explained, *”I know you’re upset with me. Some people think I insulted my wife, but that was never my intention. I love my wife dearly.”* He further added, *”Perhaps my choice of words wasn’t the best.”*
Danish emphasized that the word *”for now”* was used in the context of his life, as he believes that life is uncertain, and they are only living in the present. He said, *”I should not have used that word in that context, as I use it in my life to express that we are not here forever. But that word shouldn’t have been used there.”*
He also clarified his long-standing happy marriage, stating, *”We’ve been married for 18 years, and there has never been a dispute. I want this matter to end here, as there is no ill intention behind what I said. There’s no point in further escalating it.”* Danish also offered a heartfelt apology, saying, *”If anyone’s feelings were hurt by what I said, I sincerely apologize.”*
The actor concluded by expressing that his primary goal was to entertain people, saying, *”I don’t want you all to be upset with me. I’m here to bring joy, and I’ve dedicated my life to this work. I just want you to stay happy, as I am happy with my wife and kids. There is no issue between me and Ayeza. Alhamdulillah, we are very happy, and I hope you all stay happy in your lives as well.”*
The controversy stemmed from Danish’s earlier comments during a Ramadan transmission, where he had said, *”I am allowed to have four marriages, but I am not doing it. The point is, I want to live with them for now out of love and respect.”* The use of the term *”for now”* led to significant backlash, with many interpreting it negatively. Danish had previously explained that he used this term because he believes no one knows what tomorrow holds, stating, *”I use the word *’for now’* because I don’t know if I’ll be alive tomorrow. I might die in the next second.”*
The actor’s clarification has aimed to address the misunderstandings and reassure his fans of his commitment to his family.
