Turbat:The administration in Turbat has taken stringent action against Abrar Transport, which operates between Quetta and Turbat. According to details, on July 25th, following the directive of Commissioner Makran, Deputy Secretary of Regional Authority Makran, Muhammad Jan Dashti, conducted a sudden raid on Abrar Transport and seized all documents present on the transport, effectively shutting it down.
Secretary of Regional Transport Authority Makran Division, Muhammad Jan Dashti, acted on the orders of Commissioner Makran to seal Abrar Transport. It has been clarified that the reasons behind sealing Abrar Transport were outlined in an inquiry committee formed by the Regional Transport Authority Makran after the unfortunate bus incident. The inquiry revealed that buses of Abrar Transport were operating without route permits. Additionally, Abrar Transport was not even registered with the Industry Department, prompting the decision to seal it.
On this occasion, the SHO Turbat City Police Station team was also present with Secretary RTA Makran. It is noteworthy that just today, on July 25th, the victims of the bus accident had met with Commissioner Makran and demanded the closure of Abrar Transport. Acting on this demand, Commissioner Makran instructed Secretary RTA Makran to take action. According to Commissioner Makran, based on the committee’s report, Abrar Transport was illegally traveling between Turbat and Quetta. Therefore, Abrar Transport has been sealed to ensure the prevention of such incidents in the future.
