A Unique Wedding of a Rooster and Hen in Lahore Costs Thousands

In Lahore, a peculiar wedding ceremony took place that became the center of attention. The lavish wedding involved a rooster and a hen, who were groomed at a beauty parlor and brought to the wedding hall in a beautifully decorated car. Upon arrival, the guests welcomed the rooster and hen with dhol beats.

The ceremony included traditional rituals such as the milk-drinking and ‘manh dikhai’ (first sight) ceremony, where the hen was adorned with a golden necklace, and 10 tolas of gold were gifted to her. The hen was also given a red dupatta to wear on her head. After completing the wedding rituals, the rooster and hen were placed in an embellished cage.

The owners of the rooster and hen revealed that both were German breed, and this was a love marriage between the two. The cost of preparing the rooster and hen for the wedding amounted to one lakh rupees. When asked by the host about the most challenging part of preparing the hen, the makeup artist replied that creating the hen’s hairstyle was the hardest part of the entire process.
