Pakistan Announces 20-Member Squad for FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup
Lahore:The Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has announced a **20-member national squad** and team management for the upcoming **FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup**, scheduled to be held from **August 15 to 30** in the **Netherlands and Belgium**.
The selected squad includes **Waqar**, **Muhammad Abdullah**, **Sufyan Khan**, **Abdul Waheed Ashraf**, **Hannan Shahid**, and **Zakariya Hayat**.
Also named in the squad are **Arshad Liaqat**, **Adeel Latif**, **Ahmed Nadeem**, **Ghazanfar Ali**, **Imad Shakeel Butt**, and **Hammaduddin Anjum**.
The remaining players are **Abdul Rehman**, **Afraz**, **Umar Mustafa**, **Abu Bakar Mehmood**, **Ali Raza**, **Abdul Mannan**, and **Muhammad Imad**.
The team management will be led by **Manager Owais Qarni**, with **Head Coach Bob Johan Veldhof**, **Assistant Coach Christopher Jan Hoven**, **Adnan Zakir**, and **Video Analyst Ashraf Sultan**.
The **FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup** will take place from **August 15 to August 30**, with matches being hosted in the **Netherlands** and **Belgium**, where Pakistan will aim to make a strong impression on the international stage.
