Atlas Honda Unveils New Honda CD 70 2027 Model, Denies Price Cut Rumors

LAHORE: Atlas Honda has officially introduced the 2027 model of the Honda CD 70, Pakistan’s best-selling motorcycle, while dismissing social media reports claiming that the company has reduced motorcycle prices.
According to the company, the new Honda CD 70 will be available in red, black, and blue. The motorcycle retains its 4-stroke OHC air-cooled engine, 4-speed gearbox, and 8.5-liter fuel tank, offering excellent fuel efficiency, reliability, and suitability for everyday commuting.
Atlas Honda said the CD 70 has remained one of Pakistan’s most popular motorcycles for decades due to its durability, low maintenance costs, and outstanding fuel economy. The company noted that it continues the tradition of introducing the model each year with minor refinements and updated graphics while maintaining its trusted performance.
The company also rejected recent social media claims that it had significantly reduced motorcycle prices, describing the reports as false and misleading.
Atlas Honda clarified that no official decision or notification has been issued regarding any reduction in motorcycle prices. According to the company, the ex-factory price of the new Honda CD 70 remains Rs159,900, and this price is applicable nationwide.
The company advised customers to obtain information about prices, offers, and new models only through its official website, authorized dealerships, or official social media platforms, and to avoid relying on unverified reports.
Industry experts noted that motorcycle prices in Pakistan are influenced by factors such as the cost of imported raw materials, the exchange rate of the Pakistani rupee against the US dollar, taxes, and manufacturing expenses. They added that any future price revision would only be announced through an official notification issued by the company.
