10 Killed, Three Injured as Roof Collapses in Lahore; Two Children Die in Faisalabad
Lahore:At least **10 people were killed** and **three others injured** after the roof of a house collapsed in Lahore’s **Baghbanpura** area, rescue officials said.
According to rescue authorities, the incident occurred near **Sukh Nehar** in Baghbanpura, where victims were trapped beneath the debris after the roof gave way. Emergency teams recovered the bodies of 10 people and rescued three injured individuals.
The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital for medical treatment, while rescue personnel continued clearing the rubble to ensure no one remained trapped.
Punjab Chief Minister **Maryam Nawaz** expressed grief over the loss of lives in the incident and directed authorities to provide the best possible medical care to those injured.
In a separate incident, **two children were killed** and **two other people injured** after the roof of a house collapsed during rainfall in **Faisalabad**. Rescue teams responded to the scene and transferred the injured to a hospital for treatment.
