Aleema Khan Criticizes Judiciary, Calls for Rule of Law and Protection of Imran Khan’s Rights
BATAGRAM: Aleema Khan, sister of former Prime Minister and PTI founder Imran Khan, has called on the public to play an active role in upholding the rule of law and the Constitution, while urging authorities to ensure the legal and constitutional rights of her brother.
Addressing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers in Batagram, Aleema Khan alleged that a special court had been established solely to keep Imran Khan in prison. She sharply criticized sections of the judiciary, claiming that some judges were compromising justice for personal benefits and salaries, remarks that reflect her personal allegations.

Aleema Khan said Pakistan belongs to its people and argued that there should be no place for oppression or authoritarian rule. She urged citizens, particularly the youth, to stand for justice, constitutional supremacy, and democratic values, saying they hold the key to the country’s future.
She further stated that if Imran Khan could remain steadfast in prison for the rights of the people, PTI supporters should continue their struggle through peaceful and lawful means. According to her, the public should never accept injustice and should participate in peaceful political activities within the framework of the law.

Aleema Khan also expressed concern over reports regarding restrictions on meetings with Imran Khan and his detention conditions, saying every prisoner should be granted the rights guaranteed under Pakistan’s Constitution and laws.
Praising PTI workers for their continued support, she said the party’s movement had entered a new phase and would continue. She added that threats of imprisonment would not deter the party’s leadership or supporters, asserting that they would remain committed to their political struggle.
