PM Shehbaz Condemns Mastung Session Judge’s Killing, Says India Behind Terror Attacks in Pakistan

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly condemned the killing of a session judge in Mastung, vowing that the sacrifices of the people of Balochistan would not go in vain. He also alleged that India has a clear role in terrorist activities inside Pakistan.

Addressing participants of the Balochistan National Workshop in Islamabad, the prime minister said Balochistan is Pakistan’s largest province by area and the smallest by population, adding that its leadership has always placed national interests above personal considerations and played a vital role in the creation and strengthening of Pakistan.

Shehbaz Sharif said more than 90,000 Pakistanis have lost their lives in the country’s fight against terrorism. Referring to the recent attack in Mastung, he condemned the killing of the session judge and reaffirmed the government’s commitment to defeating terrorism.

The prime minister claimed that India’s involvement in terrorist incidents in Pakistan was “absolutely clear” and also criticized the Afghan administration, saying it had failed to prevent militants from operating from its territory. He added that Pakistan continues diplomatic efforts to engage with the neighboring country on the issue.

Shehbaz Sharif said terrorism had once been largely eliminated from Pakistan but returned as part of what he described as a coordinated conspiracy. He stressed that the fight against terrorism requires national unity and cooperation from all segments of society.

Highlighting recent achievements, the prime minister said Pakistan has made significant progress in recent months and praised the efforts of Field Marshal Asim Munir and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar. He added that Pakistan’s diplomacy for regional peace is being recognized and appreciated by the international community.
