Gold Prices Drop in Global and Local Markets

Karachi: Gold prices experienced a decline in both global and local markets today. In the international bullion market, the price of gold fell by $5 per ounce, reaching $2737. Meanwhile, in local markets, the price of 24-carat gold per tola dropped by Rs 500, bringing it down to Rs 283,200. The price of 10 grams of gold also saw a decrease of Rs 429, settling at Rs 242,798.
In contrast to the drop in gold prices, silver remained stable, with the price of one tola silver unchanged at Rs 3,430, and the price of 10 grams of silver also holding steady at Rs 2,940.67.
It is noteworthy that prices had risen in both global and local markets just the day before.
