Dubai Launches ‘A Dubai Invite’ Scheme Offering Dh3,000 Worth of Rewards to Residents
DUBAI: Dubai has launched an attractive new initiative, titled “A Dubai Invite,” allowing UAE residents to earn rewards worth more than Dh3,000 by inviting their friends and family members from abroad to visit the emirate. The programme runs from July 20 to October 31, 2026, and is aimed at boosting tourism and supporting the hospitality sector.
Under the scheme, invited guests must not be UAE residents and must enter Dubai on a valid tourist or visit visa or be eligible for visa-on-arrival facilities. The initiative is open to UAE citizens and residents aged 18 and above who possess a valid Emirates ID.
Residents can register the details of up to five guests at a time through Visit Dubai’s official nomination portal. Once the guests arrive in Dubai by air, sea, or road, their arrival will be automatically verified and the resident will receive an email containing the rewards package within 72 hours. The benefits remain valid until December 31, 2026, unless otherwise specified.
The rewards package, valued at over Dh3,000, includes discounts on hotel stays, complimentary attraction tickets, dining offers, and lifestyle benefits. Participating brands and attractions include luxury hotels, water parks, and entertainment destinations offering discounts ranging from 35 to 45 percent, room upgrades, complimentary experiences, and cashback offers. Free admission tickets to major attractions such as Aquaventure World and IMG Worlds of Adventure, along with discounts at water parks and restaurants, are also included.
The initiative comes at a time when Dubai’s tourism industry has been affected by regional geopolitical developments, including the fallout from the Iran conflict earlier this year. In May, the Dubai government announced a Dh1.5 billion economic support package for the tourism and hospitality sectors, which included the removal of the Dh20-per-night hotel room tax and the seven percent municipality tax on hotel and restaurant bills.
Officials believe the “A Dubai Invite” programme will not only encourage residents to become ambassadors for the city but will also contribute to strengthening Dubai’s tourism and business sectors in the months ahead.
