Corps Commander Balochistan Visits Family of Shaheed Major Muhammad Anwar Kakar on His First Death Anniversary
QUETTA: On the first death anniversary of Shaheed Major Muhammad Anwar Kakar, Corps Commander 12 Corps, Lieutenant General Rahat Naseem Ahmed Khan, visited the martyr’s family to pay tribute to his supreme sacrifice, bravery, and unwavering devotion to the nation.
The Corps Commander offered Fateha for the departed soul and expressed solidarity with the bereaved family, reaffirming that Pakistan’s Armed Forces can never forget the sacrifices of its martyrs and war heroes.
Speaking on the occasion, Lieutenant General Rahat Naseem Ahmed Khan said that Shaheed Major Muhammad Anwar Kakar laid down his life for the peace, security, and defence of the country, setting an enduring example of courage, patriotism, and dedication to duty. He emphasized that the entire nation remains indebted to the sacrifices made by its martyrs.
He described the martyr’s courage, integrity, professional excellence, and unwavering commitment to his responsibilities as a guiding light for future generations, particularly young officers and soldiers of the Pakistan Armed Forces.
The Corps Commander assured the family that the Pakistan Army would never leave the families of its martyrs alone and considers their welfare both a national and moral responsibility. He reiterated the military’s commitment to continuing operations against anti-state elements and pledged that the mission for which the nation’s martyrs sacrificed their lives would be carried forward with unwavering resolve.
He further stated that Pakistan’s enemies would never succeed in their malicious designs, as the Armed Forces, law enforcement agencies, and the people of Pakistan remain united in defending the country’s sovereignty and security.
The family of Shaheed Major Muhammad Anwar Kakar thanked the Corps Commander for his visit, words of encouragement, and expression of solidarity. They said they are proud of their son, who attained eternal honor by sacrificing his life in defence of the homeland.
The ceremony concluded with special prayers for the elevation of the ranks of Shaheed Major Muhammad Anwar Kakar and all the martyrs of Pakistan, as well as for the country’s peace, progress, and stability. Participants also reaffirmed their commitment to preserving the legacy of the nation’s martyrs and continuing to honor and support their families in the years to come.
