Saudi Arabia Introduces One-Year Multiple-Entry Umrah Visa for Pilgrims

Makkah: Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Hajj and Umrah has introduced a one-year multiple-entry Umrah visa, allowing pilgrims from around the world to travel to the Kingdom multiple times within a year and stay for a total of up to 90 days.

According to Arab News, the new visa will remain valid for 365 days from the date of issuance. Visa holders may enter and exit Saudi Arabia several times during the year, provided that their cumulative stay does not exceed 90 days.

Under the new policy, any unused days from the 90-day allowance will automatically carry over and remain available for future visits during the visa’s validity period. After each departure from Saudi Arabia, the visa will be automatically suspended and reactivated for subsequent visits once all applicable requirements are met.

Saudi authorities have clarified that the multiple-entry Umrah visa cannot be used to enter the Kingdom during the Hajj season.

Pilgrims must ensure that the duration of any Umrah package they purchase does not exceed the number of remaining days available on their visa.

To travel under the new visa scheme, pilgrims are required to purchase an Umrah package for each visit through approved service providers listed on the Nusuk platform. They must also obtain an Umrah permit via the Nusuk app before entering Saudi Arabia.

The permit dates must correspond with the approved services purchased, and all travel and entry requirements set by Saudi authorities must be fulfilled.

The initiative is aimed at facilitating international pilgrims by providing greater flexibility and convenience for performing Umrah throughout the year.
