U.S. Launches Tenth Day of Strikes on Iran as Regional Tensions Escalate
The **U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM)** has announced that American forces have launched a **tenth consecutive day of strikes** against targets in Iran, saying the operations are intended to further degrade the country’s military capabilities.
According to Iranian media, explosions were reported in **Qeshm Island, Bandar Abbas, Chabahar, Konarak, and Isfahan**. Iranian authorities have not yet released official information regarding casualties or the extent of the damage.
Meanwhile, a U.S. newspaper reported that several American service members were injured in attacks on U.S. forces stationed in **Jordan**, and that a military helicopter was also damaged.
The report further claimed that the **Pentagon** had not disclosed the full extent of the casualties. However, the U.S. Department of Defense rejected the allegation, stating that operational security considerations prevent the immediate public release of all battlefield information.
According to Pentagon figures cited in the reports, **427 U.S. service members have been wounded** during military operations related to the conflict with Iran, while **17 American troops have been confirmed killed**.
Reports also stated that **more than 1,700 Iranian civilians** have reportedly lost their lives since the conflict escalated, although these figures have not been independently verified.
A U.S. broadcaster said the latest wave of attacks suggests the region is moving closer to a broader military confrontation.
Amid the heightened tensions, **Kuwait** activated emergency warning sirens and placed its air defense systems on high alert. According to the Kuwaiti military, **Iranian missiles and drones** are being intercepted before reaching their intended targets.
