Allah Rewarded Me for Serving My Father, Says Nadia Khan
KARACHI: Renowned Pakistani actress, television host, and YouTuber Nadia Khan has shared an emotional account of her love and devotion to her father, saying she believes the blessings and success in her life are a reward from Allah for serving and caring for him.
Speaking during a television program, Nadia Khan said that a significant part of the blessings she has received in life is due to her efforts to ensure her father’s comfort and happiness. She emphasized that caring for one’s parents is an act that brings rewards both in this world and in the Hereafter.
Nadia revealed that whenever her father traveled, he would always purchase an economy-class ticket. However, she would quietly upgrade it to business class to make his journey more comfortable. She said she never desired such luxuries for herself but always wanted the best for her father.
“My father still lovingly remembers the things I did for him over the years,” she said, adding that although he is now quite elderly, those memories continue to bring him joy.
The actress also spoke about fulfilling one of her father’s lifelong wishes. He had dreamed of spending his retirement years in Murree, but family responsibilities, including his children’s marriages and other commitments, prevented him from realizing that dream.
After returning from Dubai, her father expressed his desire to spend Ramadan in Murree. During their visit, Nadia found that hotels in the area were expensive and did not always meet cleanliness standards. She then decided to buy a cottage for him in Bhurban and named it “Abba Cottage.”
According to Nadia Khan, her father enjoys spending time there and finds peace and comfort in the cottage she purchased especially for him.
She stressed that parents dedicate their lives to fulfilling their children’s wishes and that children, in return, should value and fulfill even the smallest wishes of their parents.
