US Embassy in UAE Cancels Consular Appointments Amid Regional Security Concerns

Abu Dhabi:** The U.S. Embassy in the United Arab Emirates has announced the cancellation of consular appointments due to the deteriorating regional security situation.

According to U.S. officials, all consular appointments at the embassy in **Abu Dhabi** scheduled between **July 13 and July 15** have been canceled. Consular services in **Dubai** are also expected to be affected.

The embassy stated that non-emergency U.S. government personnel have been relocated from the UAE. It also announced that routine U.S. visa services have been suspended until further notice, while passport services and other emergency consular assistance will be provided via email.

U.S. authorities advised applicants with appointments on the affected dates not to visit the embassy. They said embassy officials would contact applicants directly to arrange new appointment dates.

The embassy added that it is currently operating with **limited consular services** in light of the regional security situation.
