Actor Salman Saeed Opens Up About Regret Over Words Said to His Late Mother

Karachi:Pakistani actor **Salman Saeed** has shared an emotional account of his late mother’s passing, revealing that a remark he made in anger during his youth remains one of his greatest lifelong regrets.
Speaking in a recent interview, Saeed said he had a very close relationship with his mother. However, during a disagreement over marriage, he told her in anger that he would only get married after she was no longer alive—a statement he now deeply regrets.
According to the actor, his mother had wanted him to marry a particular woman, but he declined the proposal. He said fate took a tragic turn, and his mother passed away before she could witness his actual wedding.
Saeed also recalled the day his mother suffered a stroke, saying he witnessed the medical emergency firsthand before she was rushed to hospital. Despite treatment, she did not recover and passed away at a relatively young age.
The actor said her death had a profound emotional impact on him, leaving him unable to sleep properly for nearly a year. He described waking up in panic whenever he managed to fall asleep and said coping with the loss of his mother was one of the most difficult experiences of his life.
