Karachi: A significant decrease in gold prices has been observed across both international and local markets. According to the All Sindh Saraf and Jewelers Association, the price of 24-karat gold in the local market has dropped by 2,500 rupees, bringing the total to 284,700 rupees per tola. Meanwhile, the price for 10 grams of gold fell by 2,144 rupees, now standing at 244,084 rupees.
In the global market, gold prices have also declined, with a decrease of $25, resulting in a new record price of $2,752 per ounce. This follows a modest decline of 700 rupees in gold prices the previous day.
