Karachi: The Pakistan Meteorological Department’s Early Warning Center has forecasted severe heat and dry weather in the city for the next three days. From Friday to Sunday, temperatures are expected to remain high, with maximum readings ranging between 37 to 39 degrees Celsius.
During this period, sea breezes are likely to be completely inactive, allowing hot and dry winds from Balochistan to influence the weather in Karachi. Additionally, the humidity levels are anticipated to rise to 40% over the weekend, leading to a heightened perception of heat beyond the actual temperature. Residents are advised to take precautions against the intense heat.
