No Armed Takeover of Muzaffarabad Will Be Allowed: Rana Sanaullah

Islamabad (Kudrat Daily) — Adviser to the Prime Minister on Political Affairs Senator Rana Sanaullah has said that any attempt at armed takeover of Muzaffarabad will not be allowed under any circumstances.
Speaking on Geo News program Jirga, Rana Sanaullah said that peaceful protest and long marches are a constitutional right, but armed mobilization aimed at capturing Muzaffarabad would not be permitted.
He said that the sacrifices of thousands of martyrs cannot be wasted for the demands of any committee. He added that during the current situation, the Joint Action Committee had also reportedly demanded removal of clauses related to Pakistan’s constitutional accession in its oath.
Rana Sanaullah claimed that the committee was offered multiple options, but it rejected them all. He further alleged that the Joint Public Action Committee was receiving support and funding from external elements.
He also stated that earlier the committee had not raised demands regarding the abolition of reserved seats for refugees, indicating that its position had changed over time.
The senior PML-N leader emphasized that while peaceful political activity is acceptable, any form of armed action or forceful occupation would not be tolerated.
