U.S. Oil Reserves Fall to 22-Year Low Amid Iran-Related Tensions: Report

London:** U.S. oil reserves have reportedly fallen to their lowest level in 22 years amid ongoing tensions linked to the Iran conflict, according to the Financial Times.

The report states that current U.S. crude oil inventories have declined by around 10.6 million barrels, bringing total reserves down to approximately 1.57 billion barrels.

It further claims that the Trump administration has been rapidly drawing down strategic reserves in an effort to prevent a sharp rise in global oil prices during the period of heightened geopolitical instability.

According to the report, European and Asian countries are taking advantage of reduced supply flows from the Middle East, increasing their share in alternative markets.

The Financial Times also warned that oil prices could rise again in the coming weeks if supply disruptions persist in key energy-exporting regions.
