434 Road Accidents Reported on Balochistan Highways During Eid Holidays, 14 Dead and 644 Injured

QUETTA: A total of 434 traffic accidents were reported on national highways across Balochistan during the three days of Eid, according to the Emergency Response Centre.
The report stated that 644 people were injured and 14 lost their lives in these incidents across the province.
According to Mirak from the Emergency Response Centre Balochistan, 23 accidents occurred on the Winder-Lasbela section of the Quetta-Karachi National Highway, resulting in 6 deaths and injuries to 34 passengers.

He further reported that 17 accidents took place on the Gudder-Surab section, in which 4 people were killed, while 14 accidents were reported on the Saranan-Pishin section, where 2 passengers lost their lives.
The Emergency Response Centre said that most of the injured were shifted to nearby hospitals, where they received immediate medical treatment.
Authorities have urged travelers to follow traffic rules, avoid speeding, and adopt safety precautions to prevent such accidents in the future.
