PTI Leader Junaid Afzal Sahi Released from Central Jail, Reunites with Family

Rawalpindi: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf) leader Junaid Afzal Sahi has been released from Central Jail and has reached his home in Faisalabad, according to his family.

The family confirmed that Junaid Afzal Sahi was previously sentenced to three years in prison by an Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) in connection with the May 9 cases. However, his sentence was suspended by the Lahore High Court on May 14, paving the way for his release.

Junaid Afzal Sahi, a member of the Junaid Afzal Sahi, had contested the 2024 general elections from PP-98 with PTI’s support and secured victory.

Following the court’s decision, he was released from Central Jail and reunited with his family in Faisalabad, where he was warmly received.
