US Reduces Brigade Combat Teams in Europe From Four to Three

WASHINGTON: The United States Department of Defense has announced a reduction in the number of American Brigade Combat Teams stationed in Europe from four to three.
According to the Pentagon, the number of US Brigade Combat Teams deployed across Europe has now returned to 2021 levels following a comprehensive review of American military deployments in the region.
The Defense Department stated that, as a result of the decision, the planned deployment of additional US forces to Poland has been temporarily postponed.
Officials said further assessments and strategic analysis will determine the long-term future of American troop deployments in Europe.
