Iranian President Shares Image of 4,500-Year-Old Tree Amid Online Speculation

Masoud Pezeshkian shared an image of a 4,500-year-old tree on social media, drawing widespread attention and speculation online.

Posting on [X (formerly Twitter)](https://x.com?utm_source=chatgpt.com), the Iranian president wrote that the ancient “Sarv” tree is approximately 4,500 years old and is considered one of Asia’s oldest living organisms.

He further stated that the tree has stood on land known as Iran for more than four millennia, highlighting the country’s deep historical roots and civilization.

The post came after renewed discussion online regarding remarks previously attributed to Donald Trump about Iran. Social media users linked Pezeshkian’s post to Trump’s earlier statements and interpreted the image as a symbolic response emphasizing Iran’s ancient heritage and resilience.

The discussion also revived memories of Trump’s visit to China during his presidency, when Xi Jinping reportedly showed him a restricted imperial garden containing centuries-old trees, some believed to be over 1,000 years old.

Following Pezeshkian’s post, users across social media platforms continued debating its political and cultural significance.
