Rs 1500 Prize Bond Draw: First Prize of Rs 3 Million Announced, Winners List Released
Lahore: The 106th draw of the Rs 1500 prize bond was held at the National Savings Centre, Sialkot on Friday, where the winning numbers for millions of rupees in prizes were announced. A large number of citizens from across the country showed keen interest in the draw.
According to official details, the first prize of Rs 3 million was awarded to bond number 024132. With the announcement, a wave of excitement spread among the lucky bondholders holding the winning number.
Under the second prize category, three winners were awarded Rs 1 million each. The winning bond numbers are 026284, 355420, and 407321.
In the third prize category, 1,696 winners will receive Rs 18,500 each. The complete list of winning numbers has been issued by the authorities, and successful bondholders can claim their prize money according to the prescribed procedure.
Prize bonds are purchased by citizens from designated commercial banks and National Savings Centres, allowing participation in regular draws held every few months for different denominations.
Meanwhile, according to the Ministry of Finance rules for the fiscal year 2026, withholding tax will be applicable on prize money. Filers will be charged 15 percent tax, while non-filers will be subject to a 30 percent deduction.
Under Section 156 of the Income Tax Ordinance 2001, this tax is considered final and cannot be refunded or adjusted against other income.
In a separate draw held in Hyderabad on May 15, 2026, for Rs 100 prize bonds, the first prize of Rs 700,000 was won by bond number 847006. Three winners received Rs 200,000 each with bond numbers 134391, 186306, and 821652, while 1,199 winners received Rs 1,000 each as third prize winners.
