Lawlessness, Economic Crisis and Political Marginalisation Have Made Life Miserable in Pashtunkhwa, Says Khushal Khan Kakar

Quetta (Daily Qudrat Quetta) — A two-day important meeting of the Southern Pashtunkhwa Provincial Committee of the Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party was held in Quetta under the chairmanship of Provincial President Nasrullah Khan Ziaray, in memory of the late Abdul Rahim Khan Mandokhail.
The meeting was attended by party Chairman Khushal Khan Kakar, Senior Deputy Chairman Raza Muhammad Raza, Senior Secretary Syed Qadir Agha Advocate, Central Information Secretary Muhammad Isa Roshan, Central Secretary Allah Noor Khan, Central Secretary Ms. Sahib Baloch, Central Secretary Dr. Bayazid Roshan, and Provincial Secretary for Women and Human Rights Arifa Siddiq, along with other members of the provincial executive committee.
The meeting began with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Hafiz Sadiq Sherani, followed by a prayer for the deceased members and others by the party’s scholars wing organiser Maulana Fazal Kareem. The proceedings were conducted by Provincial Secretary First Faqir Khushal Kasi.
District secretaries from across Southern Pashtunkhwa presented detailed reports on organisational activities, political conditions, public outreach campaigns, and party performance. Reports from the provincial executive committee and the Pashtunkhwa Students Organisation (PSO) were also reviewed, and important decisions were made regarding future political, organisational, and public strategies.
Various suggestions and recommendations were also presented to strengthen the party at the grassroots level and make it more active and effective among the public.
Addressing the meeting, Chairman Khushal Khan Kakar, along with other leaders, said that Pashtunkhwa is currently going through a highly critical phase politically, economically, and socially, where people are facing severe issues due to lawlessness, unemployment, inflation, exploitation of resources, and political marginalisation.
He said that the only way forward is to strengthen the party on ideological, political, and organisational grounds so that the Pashtun national movement can achieve its goals of rights, freedom, and national justice.
Khushal Khan Kakar said the party must further strengthen its relationship with the people and mobilise youth, students, labourers, farmers, women, intellectuals, and civil society groups to raise awareness about their rights and political situation.
He added that the Pashtun nation is currently facing one of the most difficult periods in its history, with worsening insecurity, economic hardship, unemployment, and control over resources.
He said that only a strong, organised, and ideological political movement can resolve these issues.
The chairman further stated that the party has strengthened its organisational base in a short period due to the continuous sacrifices and efforts of its workers and leadership.
He directed party workers to intensify organisational activities, activate local units, expand public outreach, and spread the party’s message to every village, street, and locality.
He reaffirmed that the Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party will continue its struggle for national rights, unity, control over resources, democracy, social justice, and self-determination at all levels without compromise.
