Media House Owners Are Treating Balochistan Only as a Business Market, Says Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti

Quetta (Kudrat Daily) — Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti, while addressing the provincial assembly, expressed serious concern over the ongoing issue of journalists’ layoffs in the province.
He stated that the dismissal of journalists from media organizations has become a serious matter and assured that no injustice against journalists in Balochistan will be tolerated. He emphasized that Balochistan is an important part of Pakistan and its journalists deserve fair treatment and protection.
The Chief Minister further said that owners of media houses are treating Balochistan merely as a business market, ignoring the hardships faced by local media workers. He added that this issue reflects a broader neglect of the province in mainstream media.
Sarfraz Bugti revealed that he had previously raised this matter with Federal Minister for Information Attaullah Tarar and would once again contact him to discuss and resolve the issue. He stressed the need for urgent action to protect jobs and ensure fair representation of Balochistan in national media.
