Islamabad (Qudrat Daily) — Pakistani actress Dananeer Mobeen is facing both criticism and praise on social media for her distinctive fashion choice during the promotional campaign of her upcoming film “Mera Lyari”.
According to reports, Dananeer is currently in London promoting the film and was recently seen on the streets of Notting Hill wearing a modern grey tweed co-ord set. Her outfit included a cropped jacket and mini skirt paired with sheer tights.
Her appearance quickly sparked debate online. While many fans appreciated her confidence and stylish look, others criticized the outfit as inappropriate for her.
Mera Lyari is a sports drama set in Karachi’s Lyari area, aiming to highlight the region’s real-life stories and local talent.
The film features Ayesha Omar, Dananeer Mobeen, and Trinet Lucas in lead roles, along with Samiya Mumtaz, Nire Azad, Pras Masroor, and Adnan Shah Tipu in supporting roles.
Scheduled for release on May 8, 2026, across cinemas nationwide, the film is directed by Ali Sajad Shah and produced by Ayesha Omar, Waqas Hassan Rizvi, and Saniya Sohail.
