Woman, Three Children Found Dead in Multan; Husband Among Three Arrested
MULTAN: A woman and her three young children were found dead inside a house in the Mumtazabad Phatak area of Multan, in what police suspect to be a case of murder staged as suicide.
According to initial investigations, the victims were found hanging, but authorities believe the scene was manipulated to appear as a suicide. Police have arrested the woman’s husband and his brother, while a case has been registered against three افراد.
Officials said the children, aged between four and seven years, were among the deceased. In his initial statement, the husband reportedly told police that he frequently had disputes with his wife.
Hospital sources confirmed that post-mortem examinations of the victims were completed late at night. The reports revealed that the three children died due to strangulation, and their bodies were later hung to mislead investigators.
Samples have been sent to a forensic laboratory for further analysis. Police stated that the investigation is ongoing and all aspects of the case are being thoroughly examined to ensure justice is served.
