Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Arrives in Doha with High-Level Delegation

Doha: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has arrived in Doha on an official visit to Qatar, accompanied by a high-level delegation.
Upon arrival, the Prime Minister and his delegation were warmly received by Qatar’s Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi. A ceremonial guard of the Qatar Armed Forces presented a salute in honor of the visiting delegation, while the airport and parts of Doha city were decorated with Pakistani flags.
During the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with the Emir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, to discuss bilateral relations and issues related to regional and global peace. The delegation includes Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi, and the Prime Minister’s Spokesperson for International Media Mohsin (Musaddiq) Malik.
Meanwhile, details of the Prime Minister’s recent meeting with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman were also released. According to the official statement issued by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the two leaders reviewed bilateral relations and cooperation in various sectors and agreed to further strengthen their strategic partnership.
The Crown Prince praised Pakistan-Saudi strategic cooperation and appreciated Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s efforts in enhancing ties between the two countries. Discussions also covered the overall situation in the Middle East, ongoing diplomatic efforts between the United States and Iran, and initiatives aimed at promoting regional peace and stability.
Saudi Arabia reiterated its commitment to continue supporting peace and stability efforts in the region, while commending Pakistan’s leadership role in promoting dialogue and cooperation.
