Iran–U.S. Talks End Without Agreement; JD Vance Departs Islamabad

Islamabad:Iranian media has reported that Iran–United States negotiations have concluded without any agreement, with both sides failing to reach a consensus on a common framework.
According to the reports, excessive demands from the United States created obstacles in the path toward a potential deal. Key sticking points included issues related to the Strait of Hormuz and Iran’s nuclear rights, among several other disputed matters.
Despite the breakdown in talks, Iranian sources maintained that the situation in the Strait of Hormuz remains unchanged.
Meanwhile, sources confirmed that the U.S. delegation led by Vice President JD Vance has departed Islamabad and returned to the United States following the conclusion of the negotiations.
