Major Reshuffle in Balochistan Police: Notification Issued for Transfers and Postings of 21 Officers

**Quetta (Daily Qudrat Quetta)** – The Balochistan Police has announced large-scale transfers and postings of 21 police officers across the province. The orders were issued by the Inspector General of Police, Balochistan, through a notification dated February 20, 2026, and take immediate effect.
According to the notification, Malik Muhammad Asghar Usman has been transferred from SSP Loralai to AIGP Security at CPO Quetta, while Dr. Fahad Ahmed has been posted as SSP Loralai. Atif Ameer has been directed to report to CPO after serving as SSP Lasbela, and Najeebullah Pindrani has been transferred from AIGP IT to SSP Lasbela.
Syed Fazal Shah Bukhari has been moved from SP Hub to AIGP IT, whereas Muhammad Baloch has been transferred from SP Investigation Quetta to SP Hub.
Among other appointments, Nabeel Ahmed has been posted as Zonal Commander BC Quetta, Muhammad Bedar Bakht as SP Operations Quaidabad Division, Usman Aziz Mir as SP Operations Sadr Division, and Syed Talal Ahmed Shah as SSP Security Division Quetta.
Hussain Ahmed Lehri, Abdullah عمران Cheema, and Subhan Ali Magsi have been directed to report to CPO. Additionally, Ateeq-ur-Rehman has been appointed SP Chaman, Saleem Javed Shahwani as Acting SP Nushki, Athar Rasheed as Acting SP Qilla Abdullah, and Rehmatullah as Acting SP Jhal Magsi.
In further postings, Shahid Jameel Kakar has been appointed DSP Security Civil Secretariat, Syed Abid Hussain Bukhari as Acting SP Operations Sariab Division, Abid Khan Jadoon as SDPO Kuchlak, and Khizar Hayat as Acting SDPO Shalkot Circle.
The notification states that all transfers and postings are effective immediately as part of administrative restructuring within the provincial police force.
