Mahira Khan Suggests Humayun Saeed Should Explore Negative Roles Instead of Romantic Characters
Karachi: Renowned Pakistani actress Mahira Khan has advised fellow actor Humayun Saeed to move beyond romantic roles and explore negative and action-packed characters to present a fresh side of his talent to audiences.
Mahira Khan, widely admired for her versatile performances and vibrant personality, shared these views while speaking to the media during the promotions of her upcoming film “Aag Lage Basti Mein.” The on-screen pairing of Mahira Khan and Humayun Saeed has long been popular among fans.
She stated, “I believe Humayun should now take on negative roles. I would love to see him as a villain or in an intense action-driven character like ‘Noori Natt,’ where he can showcase a completely different side of himself. He genuinely enjoys action-oriented roles.”
Actor Fahad Mustafa, who was also present at the event, expressed his own interest in action roles. However, he noted that the lack of modern filmmaking facilities in Pakistan remains a major challenge for producing high-quality action films.
Fahad Mustafa further revealed that he suffered a finger fracture while performing an action scene during the shooting of “Aag Lage Basti Mein.”
It is worth mentioning that Mahira Khan plays the lead role in the film, which is a blend of action and comedy. Fahad Mustafa is also associated with the project as both an actor and producer.
