Indecent Video Case: Court Says Viral Footage Not Linked to Umer Raza Meri, Seeks SHO Response on Bail Request

Lahore: In the ongoing indecent video scandal, social media influencer Umer Raza, also known as Meri, has filed a bail petition, and the court has sought a response from the SHO of the concerned police station.

During the hearing, Justice Jawad Zafar issued notices to the SHO and requested a formal reply regarding the bail application.

Umer Raza’s lawyer, Umer Ansar Goraiah, argued that the video circulating on social media has no connection to the petitioner. He further stated that there is no footage placing Umer Raza at the scene of the alleged incident, and that the police registered the case without proper justification, leading to the petitioner’s unlawful detention.

The lawyer requested the court to approve the bail application of Umer Raza alias Meri.
